Mathematical and Statistical Explorations in Disease Modelling and Public Health 2019
July 1-11, 2019 International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Bengaluru, India Madhava Lecture Hall, ICTS
In this program, we will discuss current challenges and recent advances in Health and Disease. The aim of the program is to explore different mathematical, statistical and computational approaches to integrate experimental and clinical data, and to discuss how mathematical modeling can help to interpret and integrate experimental data, frame and test hypotheses, and suggest novel experiments allowing for more conclusive and quantitative interpretations of biological, immunological and disease-related processes.
Public Health Dynamics Workshop (PHD 2018)
March 5-7, 2018 ICMR Headquarters, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, India
Conference Hall, Room Number 301
This invited workshop was co-sponsored and hosted by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in partnership with Public Health Dynamics Laboratory (PHDL) at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, Health Analytics Network, and SHARE INDIA. The workshop was partially supported by a U.S. Fogarty International Center eCapacity educational grant (#R25TW009717) focusing on building disease modeling capabilities in India. These modeling capabilities underpin the development of evidence-based health policy, health planning, and emergent epidemic responses. This hands-on workshop focused on the use of FRED (A Framework for Reconstructing Epidemiological Dynamics), an agent-based modeling program developed by PHDL. Other types of disease modeling programs discussed included disease clustering, data standardization, access and integration for epidemic modeling, and spatial microsimulation.
Orientation Training Program on Data Analytics in Psychological Research (DMPR) 2017
February 8-9, 2017 Indian Statistical Institute, Hyderabad, India
Workshop on Disease Modelling (WODIM) 2017
March 1-2, 2017 St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Sciences, Cuddalore, India
International Workshop on Clinical Data Analytics (WCDA) 2016
December 23, 2016 Indian Institute of Public Health, Hyderabad, India
Clinical data analytics is increasingly used to generate novel information about existing and emerging treatments or other areas that are of interest to academicians, researchers, and scientists toward improving the health of their populations. WCDA 2016 brought together academicians, clinicians, researchers and other professionals engaged in the field of clinical data analytics toward developing a shared understanding of some of the most current knowledge and tools available in clinical data analytics.
